Intern Academy captures the follies of six interns who have varying degrees of interest in their education in St. Albert’s Hospital, where the dregs of med school are sent when every other hospital turns them down….

St. Albert's Hospital is a teaching hospital in big trouble. The hospital administrator is selling off equipment to make payroll, and the senior medical staff are abandoning their posts. That leaves seven young interns to learn by doing. Surgical slip-ups and lost patients are par for the course in this hospital. But hot-tub parties in "physio" and sex in the halls help keep morale high. These interns are young. They are smart. They are almost doctors. Just pray that they don't operate on you.
