Episode #11
"Ex, Lies and Videotape"
Written by Ari Posner & Eric Preven
At Kennedy High everyone is either in a scene or making a scene, but Sam and Brooke go behind the scenes when they are asked to produce a segment to air on "Enterteenment Today." The only thing Sam and Brooke can agree on is that Josh Ford should be the subject. Josh agrees, but only as an excuse to get close to Brooke.
Meanwhile, Carmen's new scene as a cheerleader wins her a stalker-esque fan, April Tuna. The cheerleaders want Carmen to start living the part, which means shunning the unpopular kids. And her first, almost deadly mistake is accidentally running over April Tuna in the DMV parking lot! Carmen is up to her pom-poms in remorse, and April forgives her, promising to cool it with the whole weirdo-stalking thing.
Sam and Brooke uncover the story behind the story of Josh Ford: his decision to be in the school musical is tearing his family apart. His hard-core, ex-marine dad walks out of Josh's performance, but his mom supports him at the risk of the marriage.
Sam and Brooke then agree to can their segment because it will only make things worse for Josh.
