Episode #21 "What Makes Sammy Run"

Sam has run away, and with Jane's bridal shower looming, her friends begin to worry. It turns out that Sam has traveled to San Francisco to find Brooke's mother, hoping that will stop the wedding from taking place. Sam ends up tracking down a beautiful art gallery owner named Kelly Foster, who initially denies being Brooke's mother. The ever-tenacious Sam doesn't give up, and Kelly finally admits to being Brooke's mom and tries to explain her reasons for walking out on her only daughter. As the hours tick by and still there is no sign of Sam, her friends start to panic. Brooke is strangely calm about Sam's disappearance, secretly hoping that she won't be back in time for the shower so she'll have to suffer the parental consequences. Once the shower begins, however, there is no way to avoid the fact that Sam is nowhere to be found. Jane is understandably shaken to hear that her daughter has run away. Just as she is about to call the police, Sam arrives back home safely, but doesn't offer any specific explanation for her disappearance. Meanwhile, the guys plan a bachelor party for Mike at a local strip club, knowing this is the only way they will get in the club since they are underage. They arrange to talk their way in and are shocked to see Nicole and Mary Cherry on stage performing! The club is raided and Mike ends up in jail after being blamed for corrupting the minors. To her dismay, Jane has to use all of the money set aside for the wedding and honeymoon to bail Mike out of jail, but Cherry Cherry comes to their rescue and offers to pay for their wedding...as long as it can be a double wedding between Mike and Jane and Cherry Cherry and Erik Estrada!
